Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red colour. Aromas of ripe berries, plum, vanilla and hint of spice. Rounded palate with creamy texture, full-bodied with bold tannins, elegant structure with a long and spiced finish. Best enjoyed at 18 °C.
Additional information: Governo is an ancient winemaking method invented in Tuscany during the 14th century. A portion of the harvested grapes are left aside to be partially dried. The semi-dried grapes are then added to the fermenting wine, resulting in a concentrated and fruity Toscano.
