Tasting Notes: Dark crimson with purple hues. A medium bodied wine with earthy aromas of dark red fruit, spices and soft French oak. The palate is broad with delicate fruit, black pepper and spice and a slight acid lift. The good concentration of fine, well ripened tannins is complemented by creamy French oak characters. The wine is drinking well now but will still be going strong in 10 years.
Aged in new & old French oak for 18 months. Fined with local organic egg white and minimally filtered. Certified organic by NASAA. 2,556 bottles produced.
