Region: Columbia Valley, Washington State, USA
Varietal: 100% Syrah
Tasting Notes: Intense bouquet of ripe plums, blackberries, bay leaf, black olive and cola. Full-bodied, rich and layered, with an ample core of succulent fruit that largely conceals fine-grained and chewy tannins. It’s one of the riper, more powerful wines in the Gramercy Cellars range this year.
Winery: Gramercy Cellars is an 8,000-case winery founded in 2005 by Master Sommelier Greg Harrington and his wife, Pam, to make Rhône and Bordeaux based wines in Washington State.
