Tasting Notes: With an intense and bright ruby red color, Tenuta Nuova 2019 shows notes of wild violet, eucalyptus and redcurrant. On the palate the tannins are round and balanced, perfectly ripe and pleasant. It shows incredible rigor and definition, characteristics that make it appreciated even now but which give a glimpse of a great future for this vintage.
Tenuta Nuova was born from an innovative vineyard project planted in an area south-east of Montalcino never experienced before and represents the desire to produce a Brunello with great personality: structure, finesse, quantity and quality of tannins, length, drinkability and potential of aging. The soil, the microclimate and the botanical realities typical of the Mediterranean scrub that surround the vineyards are the perfect demonstration of the exceptional nature of the Tenuta Nuova terroir. Aged 30 months in barrel and 18 months in bottle before release.
