Region: Sicily, Italy
Varietal: 70% Carricante & 30% others local grapes
Tasting Notes: Nerina is a fragrant, soft, fresh wine that expresses all the wealth of impressive terroir of Etna, which is dedicated to Girolamo Russo (Nerina’s son). The blend is dominated by grape variety carricante that complements the five autochthonous Sicilian varieties: catarratto, inzolia, grecanico, minnelli and coda di volpe. Exposure consists of three stages (6 months in oak barrels, 2 months in steel tanks and at least six months in bottles) and makes wine Nerina refined and soft while maintaining a natural invigorating freshness and liveliness.
